BY SIGNING UP FOR THE SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THIS WEBSITE, YOU AFFIRM THAT YOU ARE OF LEGAL AGE TO ENTER INTO THIS AGREEMENT AND THAT YOU ACCEPT AND ARE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU REGISTER ON BEHALF OF A COMPANY OR ORGANIZATION, YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU HAVE THE LEGAL AUTHORITY TO BIND THAT ENTITY TO THESE TERMS.

YOU MAY NOT SIGN UP FOR THE SERVICES IF YOU:
(A) DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS;
(B) ARE NOT AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OTHERWISE OF LEGAL AGE TO FORM A BINDING CONTRACT WITH CONNECTED LAWYERS; OR
(C) ARE PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW FROM ACCESSING OR USING THIS WEBSITE OR ANY RELATED SERVICES.

1. AGREEMENT

Connected Lawyers is a membership program offered by Digital Power Team, Inc. These Terms apply to the sale of membership services (“Services”) offered through connectedlawyers.com (the “Website”).These Terms may be updated at any time by Connected Lawyers (“we,” “us,” or “our”) at our sole discretion, without prior notice. Changes become effective as of the “Last Updated” date listed on the Website.

Your continued use of the Website and the Services after any such update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review the Terms prior to every purchase.

2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

The Website and Services—including all content, design, functionality, processes, and materials—are owned by Digital Power Team, Inc., its licensors, or other content providers, and are protected by applicable U.S. and international intellectual property laws.

You may use the Website and Services for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, repackage, resell, republish, or share any content, frameworks, systems, or materials provided through Connected Lawyers except as permitted in writing.

All names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans of Connected Lawyers are trademarks of Connected Lawyers or its affiliates. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.

3. PURCHASE AND SALE

Your request for Services constitutes an offer to purchase under these Terms. All orders must be accepted by us in order to be binding. We may decline any order for any reason, including after an automated confirmation email has been sent.

4. MEMBERSHIP SERVICES

To qualify for the Services, you may be required to submit an application. You represent that all information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.

A minimum six (6) month commitment is required for all memberships. After completion of this initial term, you may cancel by emailing [email protected].

As a condition of membership, you are required to read, follow, and comply with our Rules of Engagement. We may suspend or cancel your Services if, in our sole discretion, you violate those rules.

We may update the Rules of Engagement at any time without notice. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any such changes.

5. MEMBERSHIP FEES

You agree to pay a recurring monthly membership fee (“Membership Fee”). The first month’s Membership Fee is due prior to receiving access to the Services. Subsequent fees are due monthly thereafter.

Membership Fees are not prorated. Any additional fees not included in the Membership Fee are due at the time of service or at the time of purchase.

6. PRICES AND PAYMENT TERMS

All prices published on the Website are subject to change without notice. The price in effect at the time of purchase will apply. Price changes do not affect previously accepted orders.

You authorize us to charge your provided payment method for all fees incurred. You represent that:
(i) the payment information provided is accurate;
(ii) you are authorized to use the payment method;
(iii) charges will be honored by your payment provider; and
(iv) you will pay all charges incurred, including taxes, regardless of any conflicting quote on the Website.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time and to cancel orders arising from such errors.

7. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

All sales are final.
No refunds will be issued for any products or Services.

8. REFERRALS

You may refer new members to Connected Lawyers. For each referred individual who becomes a paying member, we will credit your account with one (1) free month unless otherwise stated.

We may modify or discontinue referral incentives at any time.

Nothing in this section creates an agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and Connected Lawyers. You may not represent that you are authorized to bind or speak on behalf of Connected Lawyers.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party tools (“Third-Party Services”). Any engagement with a Third-Party Service is solely between you and that provider and is governed by their terms.

We do not endorse, warrant, or assume responsibility for Third-Party Services and are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of such services.

If you enable Third-Party Services, you authorize us to share necessary data with those providers solely for interoperability. We are not responsible for how those providers use, modify, or store your data.

10. WARRANTY & DISCLAIMER

ALL SERVICES AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties; therefore, some exclusions may not apply to you.

We shall not be liable for any manufacturer failures or third-party obligations.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, OR DIMINISHED VALUE.

OUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICES.

These limitations shall not apply to:
(A) our gross negligence or willful misconduct; or
(B) death or bodily injury directly caused by our actions.

12. PRIVACY

We respect your privacy. Our Privacy Policy (available by request at [email protected]) governs the processing of your personal data.

13. MISCELLANEOUS

a. Assignment

You may not assign or delegate your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

b. No Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.

c. No Third-Party Beneficiaries

These Terms confer no rights on third parties.

d. Notices

Notices may be provided by email or by posting to the Website. Notices are effective upon sending or posting.
You must keep your contact information current.

e. Severability

If any term is found invalid, the remainder remains in full force.

f. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Rules of Engagement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Connected Lawyers.

g. Relationship of the Parties

Nothing in these Terms creates an agency, partnership, joint venture, fiduciary, or employment relationship.

h. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

i. Violation of Agreement

Intentional violations may require the violating party to pay the attorneys’ fees of Connected Lawyers incurred in resolving the issue, including any misuse or misappropriation of Connected Lawyers’ intellectual property.
